Hokuriku hikes (北陸地方)

The Hokuriku region is home to some of the worst weather in Japan, which makes hiking there a real challenge. From the massive snow drifts of Hakusan to the beech forests of Nosaka, the area offers hidden gems for those lucky enough to catch a break in the weather.

    No Tateyama?? Definitely a must-climb, it’s the most beautiful of the 3 Holy Mountains in Japan!
